One job, and the product does not work without it. Everything here is the honest version, including the parts that are not built.
The index is the product. The moment it is worth reading, it is worth manipulating, and anyone can create ten thousand wallets for nothing. A consensus that costs nothing to flood is not a consensus.
So weight scales with staked GENZAI. Capturing the index costs what the token costs, which is the same structure that secures a proof-of-stake chain. Remove it and the product is trivially broken.
Which cuts the uncomfortable way too. At a $16k market cap, majority influence over the consensus costs about the price of a used car. The product needs the token to appreciate before its central claim holds. That is a real dependency, not a slogan.
Staking raises the weight of your call in the index. Weight is influence over what the consensus says, nothing else. It does not buy you a better score.
Amplifying a call puts stake at risk. Confidently wrong at high weight is slashed. Brier scoring already makes honesty optimal on points; slashing puts money behind it.
Weight 1 costs nothing and always will. Staking is optional amplification. Putting the daily call behind a token would kill the thing that makes this work.
Apps and agents paying to query index history and reputation, with revenue routed to buybacks. There is no demand for this yet and the case for the token should not rest on it.
Launched on Virtuals in January 2025 and went dormant. It is being revived on the original contract rather than relaunched. The holders who are still there are still there.
Timelock sealing, epoch and beacon arithmetic, Brier scoring, index aggregation, signed calls, and the seal, epoch, record and settlement APIs.
Calls scored over the 24h after reveal against public price prints, plus track records and the leaderboard. Anyone can recompute it.
Commit storage, streaks, weight hook. 2,297 bytes, no warnings. Not deployed.
Contract deployment to Base, moving call storage onto it, and the staking weight source.
Staking and slashing are designed and specified but not deployed. Nothing on this page is a promise of price, and none of it is investment advice.
